Therapy should be started no earlier than the 3rd day after myocardial infarction, but no later than the 7th day after the acute infarction event. If well tolerated, trandolapril therapy should be continued for at least up to 2 years after the infarction event.
An increase in dose must be made dependent on tolerability – in particular on the occurrence of an increased drop in blood pressure (hypotension). Udrik 2 mg can be given together with other medicines (e.g. beta blockers, acetylsalicylic acid) that are usually used after a heart attack
