The medicine contains the active substance finasteride. It is applied to the bald areas of the scalp using a spray applicator consisting of a bottle with a pump and a cone.
The drug is used to treat mild to moderate hair loss in men (so-called androgenetic alopecia). The drug promotes hair growth on the scalp and prevents further hair loss in a male pattern. It is intended only for men aged 18 to 41 years.
Male pattern baldness is common and is believed to be caused by the interaction of genetic factors and the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT). In androgenetic alopecia, the scalp with baldness contains increased amounts of DHT. This hormone is believed to contribute to a shortening of the hair growth period and thinning of the hair. Hair follicles become smaller (become miniature), and hair loss occurs in the forehead and back of the head. This medicine reduces the concentration of DHT in the scalp. This helps to reverse baldness, promotes hair growth and prevents further hair loss.
Do not use this medicine
if you are allergic to finasteride or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
if you are a woman and are pregnant or may become pregnant.
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Depending on the size of your bald spot on your scalp, your doctor will prescribe you to spray the spray 1 to 4 times a day, each time on different areas of your bald spot on your scalp. Do not apply more than 4 times a day.
Dosage and possible days of treatment
The bottle contains up to 180 sprays. How many days of treatment one bottle will last depends on whether your doctor has prescribed 1, 2, 3 or 4 sprays per day. Do not use the bottle more than 180 times, because the solution remaining in the bottle may no longer correspond to the full dose, which may affect the effect of the treatment.

If you apply more than you should
If you apply more than recommended, talk to your doctor. Finasteride will not work faster or better if you use it more than once a day, but you are more likely to experience side effects.
If you forget to use it
If you forget to apply it, do not apply double the amount to make up for it. Continue using it at the dose recommended by your doctor.
If you stop using it
It may take up to 3 months for the treatment to work. It is important to continue using the medication until your doctor tells you to. If you stop using it, you will likely lose the hair you have grown back.
If you have any further questions about using this medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
