The active ingredient trofosfamide is a cytostatic drug that belongs to the group of so-called alkylating agents and is used to treat cancer of the lymphatic system (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). Trofosfamide alkylates and alters cellular RNA, DNA and proteins. This leads to an inhibition of cell division and an inhibition of the proliferation of tumor cells.
