It is used in a dosage of 150 mg (3 film-coated tablets of 50 mg once a day) for:
locally advanced prostate cancer and high risk of disease progression
as an independent therapy or
in addition to radiation therapy or surgical removal of the prostate gland, respectively.
The medicine should not be taken orally,
if you are allergic to bicalutamide or any other ingredient of this medicine,
if you are taking certain medicines for digestive disorders containing the active ingredient cisapride (see Category “Interactions”),
if you are taking certain medicines for allergies containing the active ingredients terfenadine or astemizole (see Category “Interactions”),
