ESTRAMON 25 mcg/24 hours, transdermal patches
ESTRAMON 25 is a drug for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It contains the female sex hormone estrogen.
ESTRAMON 25 is used in postmenopausal women whose last menstruation (menopause) was at least 12 months ago.
ESTRAMON 25 is used for:
Relief of postmenopausal symptoms
During menopause, a woman’s production of her own estrogen decreases. This can cause symptoms such as hot flashes in the face, neck, and chest (called hot flashes). ESTRAMON 25 relieves these symptoms that occur after menopause. ESTRAMON 25 will only be prescribed if your symptoms significantly affect your daily life.
Experience in treating women over 65 years of age is limited.
Compound:
Active ingredient: estradiol; 1 transdermal patch with an area of 10 cm2 contains: 2.07 mg of estradiol hemihydrate, which is equivalent to 2 mg of estradiol; Average estradiol release per day: 25 micrograms.
