The drug is a chewable tablet that contains calcium and vitamin D3 – two important substances for bone formation.
The drug is taken:
for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the elderly
as an adjunct to support specific osteoporosis therapy in patients at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.
contraindication
The drug must not be taken
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to calcium, vitamin D or any of the other ingredients
if you have too much calcium in your blood or urine
if you have calcium-containing kidney stones
if your kidneys are not working properly
if you have too much vitamin D in your blood.
Dosing by IDEOS
Always take the medicine exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The usual dose is one tablet twice a day.
If you take more than you should
If you may have taken more of the medicine than you should, talk to your doctor or pharmacist straight away.
Symptoms of hypercalcaemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, lightheadedness and confusion, extreme thirst, excessive or abnormal urine production and/or frequent urination, and bone pain.
If you forget to take a dose
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Bei dem Arzneimittel handelt es sich um Kautabletten, die Calcium und Vitamin D3 enthalten – zwei wichtige Substanzen fur den Knochenaufbau.
Das Arzneimittel wird eingenommen:
zur Vorbeugung und Behandlung eines Calcium- und Vitamin-D-Mangels bei alteren Menschen
als Erganzung zur Unterstutzung einer spezifischen Osteoporosetherapie fur Patienten, bei denen das Risiko eines Vitamin-D- und Calciummangels besteht.
Kontraindikation
Das Arzneimittel darf nicht eingenommen werden,
wenn Sie uberempfindlich (allergisch) gegen Calcium, Vitamin D oder einen der sonstigen Bestandteile sind
wenn Sie einen zu hohen Calciumgehalt im Blut oder Urin haben
wenn Sie calciumhaltige Nierensteine haben
wenn die Funktion Ihrer Nieren gestort ist
wenn der Vitamin-D-Gehalt Ihres Blutes zu hoch ist.
Dosierung von IDEOS
Nehmen Sie das Arzneimittel immer genau nach der Anweisung ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Die ubliche Dosis ist zweimal taglich eine Tablette.
Wenn Sie eine gro?ere Menge eingenommen haben, als Sie sollten
Wenn Sie moglicherweise eine gro?ere Menge des Arzneimittels eingenommen haben als Sie sollten, sprechen Sie bitte unverzuglich mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker.
Zu den Symptomen einer Hyperkalzamie (erhohter Calciumgehalt des Blutes) zahlen Appetitlosigkeit, Ubelkeit, Erbrechen, Verstopfung, Bauchschmerzen, Muskelschwache, Benommenheit und Verwirrtheit, extremes Durstgefuhl, uberma?ige oder ungewohnlich starke Urinproduktion und/oder haufiges Wasserlassen und Knochenschmerzen.
Wenn Sie die Einnahme vergessen haben
Nehmen Sie nicht die doppelte Dosis ein, wenn Sie die vorherige Einnahme vergessen haben.
