This medicine contains testosterone, a male hormone that is produced naturally in the body.
The drug is used for testosterone replacement therapy in adult men with various diseases caused by testosterone deficiency (male hypogonadism). This testosterone deficiency must be confirmed by two independent determinations of testosterone concentration in the blood. In addition, certain clinical signs must be present, including:
Sexual function disorders (impotence)
Sterility (infertility)
Decreased sex drive
fatigue
depressive moods
Bone loss due to low hormone concentrations
Dosage:
This drug is intended for adult men only.
Always use the medicine exactly as your doctor told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is 2.5 g of gel (equivalent to 40.5 mg of testosterone), applied once a day at approximately the same time, preferably in the morning. To get 2.5 g of gel from the dispenser, you need to press the button twice. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor. The maximum dose is 5 g of gel per day (no more than four button presses).
Your doctor will tell you how many button presses you should press to get the correct dose of the gel. The following table provides additional information.

If you used more than you should
Ask your doctor or pharmacist. Treatment of overdose includes drug withdrawal and appropriate symptomatic and supportive treatment.
Way :
First use of the dispenser.
Before first use, the dispenser must be prepared as follows:
Remove the dispenser cap to reveal the button.
Remove the plug from the hole.
Press the down button three times.
Do not use gel that releases the first three times you press the button. This dose should be disposed of safely. The dispenser is now ready for use. Re-pumping is no longer required.
Each time you press the button, 1.25 g of gel is dispensed.
The gel should be applied in a thin layer to clean, dry, healthy skin of the upper arms and shoulders. Do not rub it into your skin. Allow the gel to dry for at least 3-5 minutes before putting on clothing. After use, wash your hands with soap and water. Do not apply to the genitals (penis and testicles) as the high alcohol content may cause local irritation.
