Symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation
acute inflammation of the joints (acute arthritis), including attacks of gout
chronic inflammation of the joints (chronic arthritis), especially in rheumatoid arthritis (chronic polyarthritis)
Ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew’s disease) and other inflammatory rheumatic diseases of the spine.
Irritable conditions in degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthrosis and spondyloarthrosis)
inflammatory rheumatic diseases of soft tissues
painful swelling or inflammation after injury.
Due to the delayed release of the active substance diclofenac, the drug is not suitable for starting the treatment of diseases that require a rapid onset of action.
Diclofenac should not be taken.
if you are allergic to diclofenac or any other ingredient of this medicine
if you have a history of swelling of the face and mouth (angioedema), asthma attacks, chest pain, swelling of the nose or skin reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
for unexplained hematopoietic disorders
if you have an active stomach or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or perforation
if you have had a history of existing or repeated stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding)
if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation due to previous treatment with NSAIDs.
for cerebral bleeding (cerebrovascular bleeding) or other active bleeding
if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction
if you have been diagnosed with heart disease and/or cerebrovascular disease, for example. For example, if you have had a heart attack, stroke, or minor stroke (transient ischemic attack, TIA), or if you have blockages in the arteries leading to the heart or brain, or have had surgery to remove or bypass those blockages.
if you have or have had problems with your circulation (peripheral artery disease)
in the last trimester of pregnancy
The medicine is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, since the content of the active substance is too high.

The recommended dose is:
Diclofenac is dosed depending on the severity of the disease. The recommended dosage range for adults is 50 to 150 mg of diclofenac sodium per day.
Adult
Single dose: 1 capsule of extended release (equivalent to 75 mg of diclofenac sodium).
Total daily dose: 2 capsules of extended release (equivalent to 150 mg of diclofenac sodium).
Duration of use
The duration of use will be determined by the attending physician.
In case of rheumatic diseases, longer use may be required.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you think the effect is too strong or too weak.
If you took more than you should
Symptoms of overdose may include central nervous system disturbances such as headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), seizures (also myoclonic seizures in children) and loss of consciousness, as well as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract and impaired liver and kidney function are also possible. It can also lead to a drop in blood pressure, poor breathing (respiratory depression), and a blue-red discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes (cyanosis).
There is no specific antidote.
If you suspect an overdose of diclofenac, tell your doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures depending on the severity of the poisoning.
If you forget to take it
Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

Side effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time needed.
Use of this drug with other NSAIDs, including selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors, should be avoided due to lack of evidence of additional benefits and possible increased side effects.
Caution is recommended in elderly patients for fundamental medical reasons. In particular, it is recommended to use the lowest effective dose in elderly, debilitated or low body weight patients.
