Edema syndrome in chronic heart failure, liver cirrhosis, nephrotic syndrome, essential arterial hypertension (in adults), primary hyperaldosteronism (to clarify the diagnosis and short-term preoperative treatment), prevention of hypokalemia during treatment with saluretics, ascites.

It is used to treat mild to moderate Gaucher disease type 1 in adults.
