Indication
Zyrtec is used in the treatment of year-round allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis (pollinosis or hay fever), itching, urticaria. The drug can be used in adults and children from 6 years of age.
Without consulting a doctor, the drug can be used for seasonal allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis (hay or hay fever), itching and urticaria in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Contraindication
ZIRTEC should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug and in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
There must be particularly good reasons for using ZIRTECA during pregnancy. Since ZIRTEC passes into breast milk, it should not be used by nursing mothers.
